At 23 years old, after an injury, I turned the page on my sports career and get back into the corporate world.
My problem.
I had no degree or experience.
But I had a dream. Learn to become a businessman, and earn enough money to build my financial independence.
Your difference is your strength
During an interview for a simple sales job, the recruiter asked me.
—What do you want to earn?
—I looked up and said, “The sky is my limit.”
Long afterward, this leader who had initially interviewed me and offered me several opportunities that made my career take off told me.
—Do you know why I chose you in the first place
—No, but I’m interested 😀
— “The sky is my limit.” Your answer during our first exchange.
In a corporate world where everything is becoming more and more conventional, where experts tell you what to answer to every question, don’t forget to show your true “YOU.”
Clarity in what you want to do will give confidence and make you different.
