How to keep your routine habits on Monday morning after a tough weekend?

Process saves us from the poverty of our intentions.”
-Elizabeth King.

Whatever we want to achieve, consistency is key.

But let’s be honest, Monday morning, after a weekend where we ate too much and didn’t get enough sleep, who wants to exercise in the morning?

So how to keep our routine habits on Monday morning after a tough weekend?

My inner voice (feeling), “I feel bad today, let’s skip it.”

That’s where the process is saving us. The one hour you invested in defining your morning routine. Why, what, when, how. Don’t overthink; execute your process.
Repeat it every day. You earn your streak. You have a stake in the game. Do it with no end in mind. It’s a system that works. Why would you stop?

But what if I fail?

The process is saving us again. I have my safety net (the process), and I rebound. I restart.
The practice is the satisfaction of continuous improvement.

Have a great day.
