When I take the easy way in my learning, at best I stagnate
At worst I regress…
I have experienced this in many fields.
- It’s easier to play chess than to analyze a game.
- It’s easier to read a book than to take the time to summarize it at the end.
- It’s easier to assume that you practice good leadership behaviors than to ask for feedback from your teams, listen, say thank you and try to improve every day.
It’s easier but not more effective.
If you want to progress faster, you need to go through the less easy phases too.
