7 Years, 7 Minutes Of Daily Routine In The Morning. You Can Hardly See It With The Naked Eye, But The Progress And Benefits Are There

March 7, 2022 by Dror Allouche Leave a Comment

I recently took my daughter to school in the morning. On my way back, I took a small path that was not very well used and was glassy. Despite my attention, I fell. And rather a bad fall.

I could have broken my arm or hurt my hip, but I didn’t.

Why am I telling you this?

The fact that I did well is partly due to my luck and partly to my discipline.

I’ve been doing 7 minutes of exercise every morning for around 7 years now. I must have missed a few days. Don’t look at me like that. It happens to everyone 🙂

And this morning discipline strengthens my back, my joints, my muscles…

That’s what’s interesting about the “little bit but everyday” routines. It makes you progress but slowly. It’s not visible to the naked eye, there are no big transformations, but the progress is there. And for example, during this fall, I recovered the dividends.

It’s the same in all parts of our lives.

A few bucks invested every month in an ETF doesn’t make any difference over 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year but look at the curve over 10, 20, 30 years and you will surely change your mind.

Compound interest is a marvel, and it pairs perfectly with discipline. They work in all areas of your life.

Patience and discipline are the builders of your future success.

They don’t make much noise, they’re not very visible, they don’t make the front page of the newspapers, but they have a unique quality. They work.

What are you going to start investing in in 2022? Your health, your skills, your career, your money… Start small but start.

Enjoy.
