🚀Grow yourself— Learning is an energy booster
If you haven’t already, add something to learn in 2023.
Whatever you choose, learn to swim, to play chess, a digital marketing skill, a new language…
The important thing is to enjoy it.
Learning is an energy booster and we don’t use it enough.
Beware, right after the excitement of the beginning (the progress) comes the plateau.
Don’t give up. Learn to appreciate it.
In 2023, I will continue to practice German and chess
What will you learn in 2023?
I’ve written a series called ‘ if you can learn, you can do everything’ of short articles on this subject.

👨💼Grow your career—What will you do this year to create a pocket of excellence in your job?
Stephan Covey said it only takes one person to change a relationship.
What could happen in your job, if you decide to create a pocket of excellence.
Marshall Goldsmith tells this story.
You’re on a plane. A flight attendant is all smiles and gives you incredible service. Another one can barely crack a smile, and tries to do as little as possible.
Same company, same pay, same uniform….
One has decided to give the best regardless of the environment. The other (for many good and bad reasons) can’t.
A friend of mine recently decided to quit his job. He didn’t like his environment anymore.
But as soon as he left, his former boss offered him a well-paid freelance job, a former colleague offered him a partnership to start a new business and a supplier made him a job offer.
Whatever your environment, giving your best brings more pleasure (now) and creates (in the long run) opportunities you didn’t know existed.
What will you do this year to create a pocket of excellence in your job?
The Surest Way To Land Your Next Job Is To Focus On Your Current Job.

💰Grow your money— Passive investing is a long game.
Speaking of long-term.
Aspirants to financial independence have to make it their best friend.
In 2022, the markets have suffered greatly. The tabloid press has already started to use the headlines. “The Worst Year Since 2008”.
It was down by -17,08% on my main ETF.
I’m not going to hide it from you, it hurts.😀
But when you’re a passive investor playing the long game, that’s just one step in the journey.
It doesn’t destroy the big picture.
2023 is yet another opportunity to create your strategy (Find here how) and patiently execute your plan. When times are tough (and there will be plenty of other crises), it’s the big picture that will keep you on course.
What I’ve learned from Naval on wealth and happiness.
I wish you a great 2023 year, full of health, happiness, and meaning.
